Materials
- Spray bottle with vinegar-water solution
- Squeegee (child-sized)
- Dry cloth
- Newspaper (optional)
Instructions
1. Spray the window section with solution. 2. Starting at top corner, pull squeegee across in horizontal strokes. 3. Wipe squeegee blade with cloth after each stroke. 4. Overlap slightly with each new stroke. 5. Work from top to bottom. 6. Dry edges with cloth. 7. Step back and check for streaks.
Educator tip
Start with a small window or mirror at child height. The squeegee technique takes practice—overlap is the key to avoiding streaks.
