Introduce philosophy as thinking deeply about big questions. Present age-appropriate prompts: What makes something fair? Is it ever okay to lie? What does it mean to be a good person? Practice philosophical dialogue protocols: building on others' ideas, asking clarifying questions, respectfully disagreeing. Document thinking in philosophy journals.
Educator tip
